Podcasts
Podcasts have been around since the early 2000’s and gained widespread awareness even more so in 2005 when Apple’s iTunes gained support. Ever since then, it has grown from being touted as the “Wayne’s World for Radio” to big business for many individuals and organizations. Podcasts can be produced at little to no cost and are usually disseminated free-of-charge, which sets it apart from the traditional 20th-Century model of “gate-kept” media and their production tools.
Let’s discuss how you can get into listening to podcasts yourself with several popular players. As well as how to find the type of show or topic you are interested in.
