Thunderbolt Hubs and Adapters
*** Please note: This meeting will be both in-person and online. ***
All new Mac’s come with at least two USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. However, you will most likely reach a point where you will want to extend and add on more devices. This will require you to get an adapter or hub of some kind to add things like multiple monitors and Thunderbolt drives. You may also want to take advantage of pass-through charging, extra USB-A ports and audio jacks to obtain the glorious one-cable connection for your MacBook.
We will dive into some options for hubs and docks. What kind should you get? Powered or unpowered? Thunderbolt 3 or 4? USB 3 or 4?
