Widgets and the App Library

*** Please note: This meeting will be both in-person and online. ***

Widgets offer timely information from your favorite apps at a glance. You can use widgets on your Home Screen or in the macOS Notification Center to keep your favorite information at your fingertips. Now with the upcoming iOS 16, you can even add widgets to your Lock Screen!

The App Library shows your apps organized into categories, such as Creativity, Social, and Entertainment. The apps you use most are near the top of the screen and at the top level of their categories, so you can easily locate and open them.

We will discuss the basics of these powerful features that are built right into your devices and some interesting apps that take advantage of them.
